It will encourage you to improve communication with your significant other so you don’t have to keep doing things alone.

Hi I’m Jess, a wife and stay at home mom to 3 girls. For 10 years I unintentionally teetered on the verge of burnout in motherhood. I had developed some bad habits of wasting time, having no plan, letting the kids run the show, struggling alone in silence and then blowing up on my spouse. I finally realized that if I was going to find more balance in my day, be more present with my kids, and have better communication with my spouse, it was up to me to deliberately make those changes. So I created a plan to restack and replace these routines that were keeping me stuck. A simple strategy that helped me gain back more time, stamina and best of all hope. And I can’t wait to share it with you.

If you are finally ready to learn more about stacking essential habits for SAHM’s by learning quick and simple techniques that help give you more efficiency in your day; if you’re ready to feel more prepared and less frustrated with your spouse, give you more head space, energy and time to re-align with the woman that came before the mother... Then this podcast is for you!

It’s time to turn up those ear pods, shake up your fizz and let’s get stacking.

Hey Momma! Does it feel like your schedule is running you instead of the other way around? Are you tired of every part of your day bleeding into the next: where morning, midday, and bedtime all blur together until you’re completely drained? In this episode, let's go back to basics and breaks down how habit stacking actually repairs your schedule from overwhelm.  Why most moms don’t need more time, they need more rhythm, and how creating simple two-step stacks helps the brain rebuild structure from the inside out. Hear I was stuck in the “schedule spiral” with my pretty planner color-coded everything but couldn’t follow through because my brain had no consistent cues to rely on. Notice small patterns and pair simple habits: like pour coffee → unload dishwasher helps your brain rebuild predictability and calm. Habit stacking gives your brain structure, reduces decision fatigue, and replaces chaos with clarity. You’ll leave this episode knowing how to recognize your own patterns and start creating small, repeatable habits that make your schedule feel manageable again. Find the moment that always feels overwhelming, choose a simple cue that already exists in your day, and layer one habit on top of it. Because when your brain feels predictable, your day feels peaceful and that’s how habit stacking repairs your rhythm.   🎦 Book a FREE 15 min call 🙌 Coaching Program   🎁FREE GIFTS Reset Planner Simple Stack Starter Guide Declutter Scorecard    👇👇Let's Connect Habit Stacking Moms Community  habitstackingmom.jess - Instagram Weekly Newsletter   📣📣Resources  Ladder App - Workout with me Amazon Shop - My Favorites
Hey Momma — do your evenings ever feel like one giant blur of chaos? Do you wish you could end the day feeling calm, not cluttered — knowing your space, mind, and schedule are actually ready for tomorrow? In this episode, we’re diving into how to declutter your evening routine and reset your daily habits so your nights feel peaceful and your mornings finally start smooth.  The evening is the true “handoff block” between one day and the next when you can either spiral in chaos or create calm. You’ll learn how to simplify your nightly flow, use the 1410 Formula to decide what actually belongs in your routine, and build a simple 3-step reset that helps you close the day with intention instead of exhaustion. Identify where your evenings are too cluttered, what habits create calm, and how to reset your mind and environment so you end your day in control, not behind. Ultimately, I challenge you to declutter your evening routine this week. Write down every task you try to do after dinner, circle the three that actually help you feel calm and prepared for tomorrow, and practice that simple stack each night.Remember: the goal isn’t perfection — it’s peace. Let’s partner together because momming is not easy but it’s way harder when you keep trying to do it alone. Hey Momma! Do you ever feel like your needs always come last? What would change if you put boundaries in place that actually protected your health, your routines, and your habits? In this episode, I’m sharing why boundaries aren’t selfish, they’re essential.  Boundaries protect your health by keeping your sleep, nutrition, and energy a priority. They protect your time so routines can actually happen. And most importantly, they protect your identity so you don’t lose yourself in the shuffle of motherhood. We’ll walk through the different types of boundaries: time, health, environmental, and relational and talk about how they create the space where your habits can thrive. Ultimately, I’m challenging you to put one clear boundary in place this week. Whether it’s protecting your bedtime, saying no to one more commitment, or carving out a daily reset time, choose one and keep it. Boundaries are the guardrails that keep your habits steady and your identity intact. Let’s partner together because momming is not easy, but it's way harder when you keep trying to do it alone. Hey Momma, do you ever feel like you’re busy all day long but still can’t point to what you actually got done? Do you find yourself multitasking to “get ahead,” only to feel more scattered and drained by the end of the day? In this episode, I’m breaking down why multitasking is actually breaking your plan and leaving you overwhelmed. We’ll talk about the brain science behind scatter, how task-switching slows you down, and why your mental load feels so heavy when you’re trying to juggle everything at once. Then I’ll show you why habit stacking is far more efficient than multitasking, and how you can start building routines that give you structure instead of stress. Ultimately, I’m challenging you to notice where multitasking sneaks in and replace it with one simple stack inside a routine block. When you practice intentional stacking, you’ll find flow instead of scatter—and finally feel like you’re running your day, not the other way around. Let’s partner together because momming is not easy, but it’s way harder when you keep trying to do it alone. Do you ever feel like your days stack up in messy, uneven blocks that don’t quite fit? Have you wished for a way to clear the clutter and get back on track before everything topples over? In this episode, I’m sharing how motherhood is a lot like the game of Tetris. The blocks never stop falling, school drop-off, laundry, snacks, dinner, bedtime and sometimes the wrong piece drops at the wrong time. That’s where resets come in. I’ll walk you through the three resets every mom needs, daily, weekly, and mental and how each one creates the space you need to keep stacking habits and moving forward without burning out. Ultimately, I’m challenging you to see resets not as interruptions, but as the secret move that sustains you long-term. When you learn to reorganize like Tetris, you can clear the chaos and keep playing with more peace and confidence. Have you ever wondered why the tiniest windows of time in your day seem to slip away? Do you wish you could use those 5–10 minutes to get ahead instead of feeling like they disappear into scrolling or chaos? In this episode, I’m sharing the secret power of time gaps, the hidden windows that show up in between the big pieces of your day. Whether it’s sitting in car line, waiting for dinner to finish, or those few quiet minutes when the kids finally settle, these gaps can either slip through your fingers or become small but mighty resets. I’ll show you why your brain defaults to autopilot, how to recognize these time gaps, and how to turn them into simple stacks that build momentum instead of drain your energy. Ultimately, I’m challenging you to start noticing the gaps in your own day and choose one small reset you can anchor into that time. Those little choices will add up to a big difference in how calm and in control you feel. Let’s partner together because momming is not easy, but it's way harder when you keep trying to do it alone. Hey momma, do you ever feel like your carefully planned week falls apart before Monday is even over? Are you wondering why your routines never seem to stick no matter how much you plan? In this episode, we’re uncovering the invisible habit that keeps moms running in circles—overcommitment. From school activities to sports practices to PTO requests, it’s so easy to say yes until your week is so jam-packed there’s no margin left for family dinners, self-care, or even a simple reset. I’ll share why overcommitment sneaks in under the radar and how it steals your efficiency. How important it is to keep the five non-negotiable Pillars: Core Routines, Food, Home, Self-Care, and Finance, steady when chaos is knocking. We’ll also talk about how to use your Weekly Stack Session as the cornerstone habit that protects your priorities and gives you confidence to say yes—or no—with peace. Ultimately, I’m challenging you to pause this week and look at your calendar with fresh eyes. Write out your five non-negotiables first, then add in the extras. When you protect what matters most first, the extras finally feel like joy instead of chaos. Let’s partner together because momming is not easy, but it's way harder when you keep trying to do it alone. I know you're ready to put those babies to bed.... Hey momma, are you craving calm but keep getting yanked back into chaos? What would change this week if you felt steady—even when the house didn’t? In today’s episode, I’m sharing both a story from my own motherhood moments and a powerful tool that will help you reset with confidence and calm. You’ll hear how I went from reacting in frustration to creating a steady, safe moment for my kids—and why that shift matters not just for parenting but for your whole week. I’ll also walk you through my Calm Checklist, a short, practical guide that helps you pause before reacting so you can parent with steadiness instead of spiraling. Ultimately, I’m challenging you to practice creating calm instead of waiting to feel it. Because when you can regulate your own emotions first, you lead from a place of confidence and clarity—and that steadiness is what makes your consequences, routines, and home rhythms actually work. Hey Momma! Do you ever feel like your routines fall apart the second life throws you a curveball? Have you ever wondered why it feels so hard to get back on track once things get off rhythm? In this episode, we’re going back to the basics and talking about the habit loop—the simple, repeatable cycle that shapes every habit you have. I’ll share a personal story from my own childhood that shows just how powerful one tiny habit can be, and then we’ll walk through how to spot the cues, routines, and rewards in your own life. You’ll see how routines are really just collections of habits—and how, when one piece gets clunky, you don’t need to throw the whole thing out. You just need to reset the loop. Ultimately, I’m challenging you to look at one routine in your home that feels messy or broken and reset it this week. Spot the cue, test a new step, strengthen the reward, and give yourself permission to practice until it flows. Tiny resets are what make routines stick. Let’s partner together because momming is not easy, but it’s way harder when you keep trying to do it alone. I know you’re ready to put those babies to bed…. Hey Momma! Do you ever feel like your routines just don’t flow the way you want them to? Like no matter how much you plan, something always feels clunky or out of place? Wouldn’t it be amazing if your daily habits actually made life easier instead of feeling like just one more thing to do? In this episode, I’m sharing why refining your daily routines is the real secret to creating balance as a stay-at-home mom. We’ll talk about why routines aren’t meant to be perfect, but polished, and how habit stacking can help you smooth out the rough edges so your day runs more efficiently. I’ll walk you through the power of small adjustments—tweaking, polishing, and refining your core routines—so that instead of draining your energy, they start giving you more time back. Ultimately, I’m challenging you to take a look at your routines this week and polish just one habit that isn’t working. Maybe it’s shifting your laundry routine, moving a kitchen reset to a different time of day, or reworking your evening flow. Tiny refinements are what transform chaos into consistency, and I want you to experience that shift. In this episode, I’m sharing why mom brain is more than forgetfulness, it’s actually a habit we fall into when we live in constant reaction mode. Do you ever feel like your kids aren’t listening no matter how many times you repeat yourself? Or maybe you’ve wondered why reminders don’t stick, even when you’ve explained the routine a hundred times? In this episode, I’m diving into one of the most overlooked truths of motherhood: your kids don’t just hear what you say—they copy what you do. I’ll share a personal story about how my oldest daughter pushed me to get consistent, why your daily habits become the anchor for your kids, and how to start stacking age-appropriate routines for toddlers, elementary kids, and teens. You’ll see how simple habits done out loud and in front of your kids shape their patterns far more than constant reminders ever could. Ultimately, I want to challenge you to stop feeling like you have to control everything and start focusing on what you can model consistently. When your kids see your commitment, it becomes their security blanket. Your routines give them the structure and confidence they need to build their own. Do you ever feel like you’re putting in all the effort but nothing’s actually changing? Or maybe you’ve been stuck in the same cycle for so long that you wonder if it’s even worth trying anymore? In this episode, I’m taking you back to a season of motherhood when everything felt like it was falling apart, diapers, dishes, flipping a house, and running a home all at once. From the outside, it looked like nothing was working. But what I learned in that season is that progress is invisible before it becomes obvious. Those daily deposits, even when you can’t see them, are stacking into something bigger. Ultimately, I want to challenge you to shift your perspective from failure to focus. Letting certain things go quiet in this season isn’t you doing something wrong, it’s you choosing clarity and focus. When you stop spinning your wheels on everything, and instead direct your energy to the one thing that matters most, that’s when invisible progress turns into visible results. Hey momma, Let’s talk about something that might surprise you. Organizing is not the same as decluttering. You can sort 300 ponytail holders into a jar or line up mini hotel shampoos in a basket, but if you never actually let go of the excess, you’re just organizing junk. And that kind of “organization” only leads to more overwhelm. In this episode, I share a story from my own childhood about how my parents’ mindset of saving everything, from cups to ponytails to hotel shampoos, kept us organized but still drowning in stuff. The truth? You can’t organize your way out of clutter. You have to create a decluttering habit. Here’s what you’ll hear in this episode: ✨ Why clutter = constant mental noise (even when it’s “organized”) ✨ The difference between organizing, deep cleaning, and true decluttering ✨ How to turn decluttering into a repeatable routine that fits into your weekly schedule ✨ My S2G2 Strategy (Sell, Sort, Give, Gone) to finally let things go and minimize for good ✨ Why decluttering isn’t about a weekend purge, but about protecting your peace long-term 👉 Don’t forget to grab your Declutter Scorecard before you listen. This is your roadmap for knowing exactly where to start and how to build your plan step by step. The link is in the show notes! If you’re ready to quiet the mental noise in your home and finally live with more peace, this episode is for you. And if you need extra support building your routine, I’d love to walk alongside you. Hey Momma! Do you ever feel like after summer your whole house needs a reset? The kids have been in and out, the floors are trashed, and every space feels like it’s carrying the chaos of the season. September rolls around, the kids are back in school (mostly 🤧 — because let’s be real, sick days happen), and suddenly you’ve got just a little pocket of time to breathe again. But the question is: where do you even start? In this episode, I’m sharing the 4 High Impact Spaces I always deep clean first when a new season begins. These resets instantly make my home feel fresh, bring back my energy, and help me step into the school year with less overwhelm. We’ll also break down the difference between deep cleaning and decluttering — because they’re not the same thing, and knowing when to use each one is a game-changer. Here’s what you’ll hear in this episode: ✨ Why September (and April!) are the best times for a home reset ✨ The difference between deep cleaning vs. decluttering — and why both need a plan ✨ The 4 spaces that give you the biggest return when you deep clean them first ✨ How small resets in these spots create momentum for the rest of your home Ultimately, I want you to stop staring at your whole house and feeling paralyzed. You don’t need to clean everything at once. By focusing on these four spaces you’ll create an instant reset and set yourself up to move into decluttering with confidence. 👉 And if you love the idea of getting your home refreshed but need extra support? Let’s partner together. Schedule a call with me in the link below, and I’ll help you build a simple plan to finally dig out of the mess and keep it that way. Do you ever feel like your open time just… disappears? What if the key to protecting it wasn’t doing less, but organizing your routines with more intention? In this episode, we’re talking about how to use intentional routine organization to protect your most valuable resource—your time. You’ll learn how to set up routines that not only keep the day flowing but also safeguard the open spaces you need for rest, connection, and personal goals. We’ll cover how to identify which routines are eating into your time, how to restructure them to be more efficient, and how to create built-in breathing room without letting the essentials slip. Do you know the real difference between a habit stack and a routine? And how each one fits into your schedule without stepping on the other’s toes? In this episode, we’re breaking down the clear distinction between habit stacking and routines—and why treating them the same is one of the biggest mistakes moms make when trying to get organized. You’ll learn how habit stacks are designed to be flexible, goal-focused sequences you can place where they fit best, while routines are the time-based anchors that hold your day together. We’ll talk through how to organize them in your schedule so they work together, not against each other, giving you both structure and freedom in your daily flow. Ultimately, I’m challenging you to take a closer look at your own schedule and separate what’s truly a routine from what’s actually a stack. Once you see the difference, you can intentionally place each one where it belongs—so your days run smoother and your goals don’t get lost in the shuffle.
